Sarah’s Diary: her Account of the Day
Saturday 3 June was the day of the skydive. Anna, Rich, Max and Jimmy bravely jumped from 15,000 feet through beautiful blue skies to raise money for children with additional needs, supporting the work of the Mary Budding Trust.
It was a long and nervous day for the intrepid skydivers, with training and getting kitted out, but families and friends turned out in force to give them lots of encouragement. Then it was up in the air . . .
. . . Eventually we saw tiny dots emerge from the aeroplane as the team jumped out with their tandem professionals. It seemed like a long time before we could see them properly, but Anna said it was over like a flash! They all landed safely, but still on a high from their incredible achievement.
Here are some of their comments:
‘Amazing experience, glad we exceeded our target for a wonderful charity!’
‘Wonderful day shared by all’
Thank you to the skydive team and all their supporters who raised £1935! Every single penny will help to make a huge difference to the young children who need it the most.
