The Mary Budding Trust is holding an open garden day at Hotel Endsleigh Milton Abbot, Tavistock, Devon PL19 0PQ from 11am to 5pm on Sunday July 2nd 2017 to raise money for its ongoing work with children who have special needs.
Proceeds from the event will be used by the Mary Budding Trust to support children 11 and under who have a range of special needs and who live in West Devon. Garden entry for adults is £5 and free for children under 14.
The garden at Hotel Endsleigh overlooks the River Tamar and beyond into Cornwall and is set in 108 acres of formal gardens, woodlands, follies and grottos created over 200 years ago by Sir Humphry Repton for the Duke of Bedford.
Beyond the formal gardens, with it’s stunning 100m-long herbaceous border, is the arboretum which contains unusual trees from around the world, still standing in the spots marked out with bamboo canes by the Duchess.
